Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. Madekwe is English, and her father was Nigerian. She grew up in a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. As a student at the academy was when she performed in various stage productions including King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her success led her to play Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx & Flipside playing the character of Ollie. In the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe starred as the lead character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy released in 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it came to an end. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After a period of two years as a main character, she was a guest in the opening episode of season 3. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in the large family. Her parents were Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty along with the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer, so she basically grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. When she turned two-and-a-half she took up Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley developed a passion for dancing shortly after she joined the Baby Ballet. When she was in high school, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz pointe, acrobatics lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop. In addition, she won top soloists awards in all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
