McKayla Rose Maroney is a former American musician and artistic gymnast. She was a member of the American women's gymnastics squad, The Fierce Five. In the Summer Olympics 2012, she took home a gold for team and silver in individual vault. The beginning of her life. McKayla Rose Maroney is the daughter of Erin Maroney and Mike Maroney. Her parents, two sisters and brother were members of the church and cut all ties with her.
