Larter was in a variety of films in her time in Heroes. One of them was in her appearance in the Bollywood film Marigold in which she earned an income of seven figures. Marigold received mostly negative reviews. She also starred as Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Extinction. The third film of the cult movie series based off of Capcom games. She played Claire Redfield, based on the video game character of similar name. It was a massive box-office film that trebled its budget, even though it was critically acclaimed as a loss. Larter appeared as a caveman in Homo Erectus, a direct-to DVD release. Hayes MacArthur - an actor who was set to get married as well as appearing in the film. Larter was a co-star with Beyonce as well as Idris Elba in the thriller Obsessed . It made it to the top of the charts however, it received a mixed reception. Certain critics even compared it to Fatal Attraction.
